Winter Holiday - Christmas
Week 15:
Winter Holiday - Christmas
Winter Holiday – Christmas
is really one of the most wonderful time of the year. The holidays are a
wonderful time for traditions. Traditions make families closer. Every culture
has something to share and food ties it all together.
Before our Winter Break,
students learned how people of different religions and cultures celebrate
Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanzaa and New Years.
The students learned about the Spirit of Christmas, which is all about giving. Sharing is giving. They also learned about Santa Claus, Rudolf, Elves and Stocking. They even made their Christmas card for their parents and wrote their Christmas letter to Santa.
They were all excited to get their Christmas presents from Santa and I
bet they all tried to behave during the holidays.
We ended our week with a fun-filled Christmas Party where all the ELC students get to enjoy the movie with a popcorn and light snacks. Followed with a short BINGO game before heading to the playground and lunch altogether at the gym afterwards.

My
apologies for the late update. It has been a very busy week for me and I was
too excited packing all my stuff for the holiday. I thought I’d be able to
update the blog whilst on holiday but couldn't find time.
