Week 10: Fall Break is Over
秋休みが終わりました

Fall Break is over and we’re back to school. Surprisingly, the Pre 2 students didn’t cry after being away at school for a while. Instead, they became more engaged, independent and somehow silly in a sense that they are slowly showing a sense of humor.
秋休みが終わり、またいつもの日常が戻ってきました。驚いたことに、しばらく学校を離れた直後でも、Pre2の子どもたちは全く泣きませんでした。むしろ、学校に慣れ親しみ、自立したところを見せ、また、ユーモアにあふれた姿を見せてくれるようになりました。

We had a visitor for 3 days from Junior High School who helped and played with us and the students are becoming more sociable and playful.
今週、３日間の日程で職場体験の中学生の方に来てもらいました。一緒に遊んで楽しい時間を過ごしました。

Inquiry:　探求の時間

In our inquiry time, we talked about Winter and we made a fake snow where the students playfully mixed the baking soda and the shaving cream.
探求の時間には「冬」をテーマにお話をし、ベーキングソーダとシェービングクリームを使った「雪」を作りました。

Our letter of the week is Gg. Gg is for gift, glue and goat.
今週のアルファベットはGgでした。Gから始まる単語には、gift, glue, goat等があります。

Math:　算数

We played and counted the wooden blocks.
木製のブロックを使って遊んだり、数を数えたりしました。

We will have our Literacy Week next week and our focus letter is Letter Hh.
来週はリテラシーウィーク（文学週間）です。英語の時間には、アルファベットの文字「Hh」を学びます。
